Wandering Child Nature Group was born from the innate desire to wander through nature together with community.
In a world that gives praise to fast-paced, instant gratification, we created a place to slow down, enjoy and explore without any specific goal or objective needing to be accomplished.
The end result? A community of families adventuring and exploring outdoors together at the pace of the children. A chance to be fully present in nature, even if just for a few hours each week.
If you’re new to our tribe, welcome. WCNG is a place to build community in nature and foster resilience in all weather. We empower kids of all ages to take appropriate risks & collaborate and problem solve with other kids while in the great outdoors. We encourage parents to come as they are, no expectations or pressure, to simply enjoy time in nature with their kids amongst other families.
